Introduction
SIF as a leading NGO in the field of social and NGO development offers a wide range of services in terms of counselling, organisational development, strategic planning, etc.
Our references consist of many successful projects such as:
1997 – 1999: Participation in the Phare-funded action research organized by the Association of Nonprofit Human Services called ‘Developing Quality Standards in Nonprofit Human Services’. The aim of the project was to identify sector-acknowledged standards in nonprofit service provision.
2000 – 2001: Consultancy within the OSI-funded Central-Eastern-European project on introducing elderly care and home care in 16 CEE countries, developing quality standards in elderly care, setting up the Budapest International Workshop on issues of common interest in the NGO sector of CEE countries.
2004 - 2005: Consultancy and research activities within two research projects on gender issues; surveying women’s situation in the labour market in CEE countries, and the effect of EU accession on gender equality in CEE countries in partnership with the KARAT Coalition and with the support of UNIFEM.
2008 - 2009: Participation in the development of the Szőreg-I Stakeholder Engagement Plan and the Szőreg-I Social Management Plan and Social Impact Assessment in partnership with Mott MacDonald Hungary and Golder Associates Hungary for the Szőreg-I Underground Gas Storage Facility.
