Social EXPO 2009

12^th of November is the Day of Social Work in Hungary. The Alliance of Social Professionals and the Social Innovation Foundation decided therefore to organize the Social EXPO in order to celebrate members of the social profession and provide an opportunity for social professionals to meet each other, their clients and members of the government.

The first Social EXPO was held in 2008 and due to its high professional and public success we intend to organise it anually.

In 2009 the Minister of Employment and Social Issues has undertaken the patronage of the event.

During these two days organizers would like to provide a wide range of programs diverting from professional knowledge exchange through scientific debates and cultural programme elements. As there are so many program offers and matters to discuss we intend to organize the different program elements parallel by each other.

Date of the event: 12-13 November, 2009.

Location of the event: József Attila Cultural Centre.

We await organisations to register to

• hold lectures or workshops,


• participate in the EXPO by renting their own stand.
